Paul joined Harneys’ Cayman office in October 2015 as a senior associate specializing in commercial and insolvency litigation. He has advised international financial institutions, corporate entities, accountancy firms, directors, creditors and alternative capital providers on a variety of matters.
Paul has extensive liquidation and receivership experience advising financial institutions in proceedings against borrowers, advising shareholders in commercial disputes and other financial related litigation. He also has experience dealing with financial regulators in various jurisdictions, and is recommended by Legal 500.
Prior to joining Harneys Paul worked for A&L Goodbody and McCann FitzGerald where he advised on two of the largest mandates in Irish corporate history in the special liquidation of Irish Bank Resolution Corporation Limited (IBRC) and the restructuring of eircom. He advised the security agent in respect of the Castle Market (CMBS) property portfolio and advised in respect of all aspects of enforcement.
